Boost your English with a holiday in the sun!

This is, without a doubt, the best way to accelerate your Business English in a short time!

Join me on the beautiful Mediterranean island of Gozo for an intensive residential English retreat. You'll stay in a private room in a luxury apartment just a few minutes from the vibrant central town of Victoria. We'll meet every day for a programme of lessons and activities designed to boost your skills, and you'll have plenty of time to explore this lovely island.

My English retreats are challenging! We'll do three group lessons each day, and one private tutorial. There will be plenty of activities designed to help you flex your English skills, and we'll learn a great deal about effective communication. Each retreat is currently limited to just three students, to maximise the time we spend together. My retreats are suitable for Teens aged 15 and above. Younger children can be accommodated if accompanied by a parent/guardian.

The retreat fee includes accommodation (including continental breakfast), all lessons and activities, a number of free Gozo excursions, and your coursebook.

Why Gozo?

Gozo is one of the most beautiful, best-kept secrets in the Mediterranean region. It's a tiny island that forms part of Malta, which is one of the world's 10 smallest countries.

Even though it's small, Gozo packs a lot in. We have beautiful scenery, a big range of restaurants serving delicious food, crystal clear waters and some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet!

It is also full of history and is built around the Citadel, an ancient fort built to protect residents from invaders. We have what is believed to be the second-oldest man-made structure in the world, the UNESCO-protected Ggantija Temples.

We are lucky to enjoy over 300 days of sunshine per year. Often, this means that when it's cold and rainy in other parts of Europe, you can count on clear blue skies and lots of warm sunny days here in Gozo.

Part of the beauty of Gozo is how small it is! It's easy to get around on foot or by using our excellent bus service. You can get from enjoying a coffee and pastizzi in a café in the centre of town to swimming in one of our beautiful bays in just a few minutes.

Malta is a popular destination for English learners, because here English is one of our official languages. You'll be able to fully immerse yourself in English here, as most people speak English and everything, from road signs to restaurant menus, is in English.

Accommodation

Each student will sleep in their own private bedroom in a beautiful, bright three-bedroom apartment in Fontana. Fontana is one of Gozo's smallest villages, and the apartment is just a five-minute walk from the bustling St George's Square in Victoria.

One bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, and a second bathroom is shared by the other two bedrooms. All bedrooms, and the living area, are fully air-conditioned.

The apartment has a fully equipped, modern kitchen, with cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, cutlery, crockery and cookware.

The lounge has comfortable seating and a smart TV with netflix and local channels, as well as a beautiful balcony.

On the roof we have a private terrace where you can enjoy views of the Citadel, as well as a laundry room with free use of the washing machine during your stay.

The apartment is just a few minutes' walk from the Victoria bus terminus, from where you can connect to all parts of the island with our great bus service. We are just 2km from Xlendi, a lovely seaside town with plenty of bars and restaurants as well as one of the best swimming spots on the island.
