For over 20 years, I’ve worked in senior corporate communications roles, advising leaders on how to communicate in high-stakes situations and helping companies ensure their messaging is heard and understood.
I'm also a qualified English language coach, with two teaching qualifications and a passion for helping non-fluent professionals grow their careers by taking control of their English communication.
My work sits at the intersection of leadership coaching, corporate communications consulting and language teaching. I don’t teach ‘general English’ - I specialise in teaching modern business English to ambitious professionals. I coach organisational leaders to use communication as a leadership tool: to become more visible, inspiring, and effective. And I help companies develop the communication systems and culture needed in a healthy organisation.

Speaking Club
Do you ever finish an English lesson feeling confident, only to forget everything a few days later? That's probably because you're not speaking enough! The fastest way to improve your English is to speak it out loud - But many students don't have access to other English speakers to practise. That's why I run Speaking Club. It's an hour of great conversation about interesting topics - and it's fun!

Business English Lessons
I have over 20 years' experience as a senior corporate communications leader in global organisations; I'm also a CELTA and TEFL qualified English language teacher. I know what it takes to improve your business English - less learning how to draft a formal email, and more learning how to speak well in high-pressure situations. In a busy corporate environment, you need to be able to draw on a large database of appropriate vocabulary and phrasing - and quickly!
